Our Story

  • How it started

Established in 2014 by Coach Ivy in East Vancouver's Mount Pleasant neighbourhood, Ivy's Breakfast Club initially brought together a group of young adults, mostly college players, and some high school athletes who shared a passion for basketball and a desire to enhance their skills and play at a high level. The name "Breakfast Club" was inspired by the early morning skill development sessions and field/hill workouts that were a common practice among high-level players in high school and college. Over the years, Ivy's Breakfast Club has evolved into a dynamic community, now offering a diverse array of programs and events tailored to support player development across all skill levels.

  • A tale of two cities

From the rugged alleys of Manila to the tranquil shores of Vancouver, Ivy navigated the stark divide between two distinct worlds.
